The person in front of the work.

I have spent years building software, and I have watched the same pattern repeat: the tool is not the hard part. The hard part is the workflow around it — who does what, where the review happens, what the constraints really are. When AI arrives without that understanding, it adds a fast, confident guess to a process nobody has mapped.

So I work in a deliberate order. I map how the work actually runs, simplify what can be simplified, and only then install or build a capability. Every result is something you can inspect and own, with a person accountable for it and the boundaries stated plainly. I would rather ship a smaller system I can fully explain than a bigger one I cannot.

Long Island small and mid-sized businesses are the audience I care most about — owner-operated shops where a single cleaner workflow changes the day. Law firms are one important wedge, not the only front door.
